So over the weekend I am embarking on the task of moving this site’s hosting and domain registration. This will no doubt involve words I don’t usually say. I’m a little worried. Needless to say that means I might be offline for a little while, or some time. But hopefully, everything going well, it will be back up and running next week! If anyone has any advice to help me smooth the process, I welcome your comments!

Site housekeeping

I’ve actually done some site housekeeping (as opposed to actual housekeeping. Vac…uum?) and have revised the About BookieMonster page as well as the Contact Us page. I’ve also added in a Review Policy page for anyone who would like to send us a book to review. And, as promised, here is a picture of BookieMonster Kitteh the 2nd. We shall call her Kitty and she shall be squeaky.

She often says hello to me outside and occasionally we find birds neatly eviscerated and lying on the path to our front door [...read more...]

Cats. That is all.

After losing the BookieMonster Kitteh to the ravages of time I was not looking to get another kitty too soon. We thought we would wait until next year. But fate goosed me (as usual) and a friend had a beautiful black and white cat in need of a home. So guess who has a kitty? In honour of new Kitty I thought you might be interested in some cat books we have for sale. Full of luffly cats.
